NATHEB: new therapeutic approaches in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B

Partners:

o EDELRIS (Lyon, France) (project leader)

o POXEL (Lyon, France),

o TRANSGENE Département Maladies Infectieuses (Lyon, France),

o Inserm U851, Vincent Lotteau (Lyon, France),

The aim of the project is to develop new therapeutic solutions against hepatitis B, which despite the efficacy of current vaccines, strikes over 350 million people in the world, and particularly in emerging countries. These new treatments will allow a better control over replication of the viral genome and viral antigen expression as well as a better stimulation of the host immune response.
